Rocaberte.
Software Engineer · Boston, MA
7 years at Athenium building enterprise web apps. Big on using AI to skip the tedious parts. When I'm not coding I'm probably at a concert, messing around with a side project, or nerding out about personal finance.

Software Engineer
May 2021 – Present- Built the Multi-Reviewer workflow in TEAMThink — lets multiple reviewers assess a single file independently and consolidates their results into one output for reporting.
- Helped ship Secondary Calibration Reviews in GaugeQuality, allowing senior reviewers to verify the results of existing reviews before they go to reporting.
- Set up AI tooling across the dev workflow to automate repetitive tasks and move faster on both reviews and new feature work.
- Migrated the TEAMThink application suite from CVS to Git, modernizing version control for a codebase that had been on CVS for decades.
- Introduced pre-commit hooks, EditorConfigs, and a real unit testing suite to a 20+ year old codebase that had essentially none of those things.
- Wrote and organized technical documentation from scratch — onboarding new engineers went from painful to manageable.

Outside of Work
Live Music
I go to a lot of concerts — electronic music is my main thing, but I'll show up for pretty much anything interesting. I played piano and drums growing up, which probably explains a lot. The concert tracker below has the full list.
Fitness
I try to get to the gym consistently. It's a good reset from staring at a screen all day.
Personal Finance
I've been teaching myself the basics — investing, retirement accounts, eventually real estate. It's one of those topics where the more you learn, the more you realize you don't know.
Gaming
Currently into Rainbow 6 Siege, Predecessor, and Arc Raiders. Mostly competitive shooters and anything with a decent learning curve.
Tinkering
I write Python scripts for things I find annoying to do by hand, and I'm the default IT person for my family. I actually enjoy it.
